【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedbyproducersofelectricalheatingalloystomeasurethecyclicoxidationresistanceofthesealloys.Becauseoftheeffectoftheenvironment,design,anduse,thelifevaluesobtainedfromthistestmethodmaynotcorrelatewiththatofanapplianceorindustrialheatingunit.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistancetooxidationofnickel-chromiumandnickel-chromium-ironelectricalheatingalloysatelevatedtemperaturesunderintermittentheating.Proceduresforaconstant-temperaturecycleareprovided.Thistestmethodisusedforinternalcomparativepurposesonly.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
