【摘要】:ThispartofBS5655givesrecommendationsforthemodernization,ormodification,andimprovementofelectricpassengerandgoodspassengerlifts,withtractiondriveorpositivedrive,servingdefinedlandinglevels,havingacardesignedforthetransportationofpersonsorpersonsandgoods,suspendedbyropesorchainsandmovingbetweenguiderailsinclinednotmorethan15°tothevertical.ThispartofBS5655doesnotcoveranyofthefollowingtypesoflift:a)newlifts;b)liftingappliances,suchaspaternosters,minelifts,theatricallifts,applianceswithautomaticcaging,skips,liftsandhoistsforbuildingandpublicworkssites,ship’shoists,platformsforexplorationordrillingatsea,constructionandmaintenanceappliances;c)installationswheretheinclinationoftheguiderailstotheverticalexceeds15°;d)liftswithdrivesotherthantractiondrivesorpositivedrives;e)like-for-likereplacementofliftcomponents;f)goodsonlylifts.NOTE1TherecommendationsinthispartofBS5655may,however,beusedasabasisformodernizationormodificationofsuchlifts.NOTE2Wherealiftfallsintooneofthefollowingcategories,itisdeemedtobeanewliftasdefinedintheLiftsRegulations1997[1]andthispartofBS5655isnotapplicable:—dismantledfromanexistingsiteandinstalledatanewsite;—installedwherenoliftpreviouslyexisted;—completelyreplaced;—onlyretainstheguiderails.NOTE3Insomesituations(e.g.potentiallyexplosiveatmosphere,extremeclimateconditions,vandalism,transportingdangerousgoods,etc.),additionalmeasuresmightneedtobetakentothoserecommendedinthispartofBS5655.
