【摘要】:Thestress-strainpropertiesofunvulcanizedrubber(eitherinacompoundorintherawstate)areimportanttocertainprocessingoperationsintherubberindustry.Theseunvulcanizedrubberpropertiesarefrequentlyreferredtoasx201C;greenstrength.x201D;Greenstrengthisdeterminedprimarilybythephysicalandchemicalcharacteristicsofpolymers,suchasmolecularweight,tendencytocrystallize,degreeofbranching,andsoforth.Itisalsorelatedtothecompoundformulation,particularlyfillerandplasticizercontent,andthepresenceofpeptizers.Greenstrengthcanbeagoodindicationofprocessingbehavior.Itisaparticularlyimportantcharacteristicforallprocessingoperationsinwhichelongationpredominates.Greenstrengthisdependentonthetestpiecepreparation,rateofextension,andtesttemperature.Therefore,asingle-pointmethodcannotbeexpectedtogivecorrelationbetweengreenstrengthandprocessingbehavioroverthewholerangeofprocessingconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversmethodstoevaluateacharacteristicofrawrubberorunvulcanizedrubbercompoundsthatisdesignatedasgreenstrength.Thisspecialstrengthpropertyforuncuredrubbersisanimportantprocessingperformanceattributeinrubberproductmanufacturing.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
