【摘要】:ThispartofISO14253givesguidanceontheimplementationoftheconceptofthe“Guidetotheestimationofuncertaintyinmeasurement”(inshortGUM)tobeappliedinindustryforthecalibrationof(measurement)standardsandmeasuringequipmentinthefieldofGPSandthemeasurementofworkpieceGPScharacteristics.Theaimistopromotefullinformationonhowtoachieveuncertaintystatementsandprovidethebasisforinternationalcomparisonofmeasurementresultsandtheiruncertainties(relationshipbetweenpurchaserandsupplier).ThispartofISO14253isintendedtosupportISO14253-1.BothpartsarebeneficialtoalltechnicalfunctionsinacompanyintheinterpretationofGPSspecifications[i.e.tolerancesofworkpiececharacteristicsandvaluesofmaximumpermissibleerrors(MPEs)formetrologicalcharacteristicsofmeasuringequipment].ThispartofISO14253introducestheProcedureforUncertaintyMAnagement(PUMA),whichisapractical,iterativeprocedurebasedontheGUMforestimatinguncertaintyofmeasurementwithoutchangingthebasicconceptsoftheGUM.Itisintendedtobeusedgenerallyforestimatinguncertaintyofmeasurementandgivingstatementsofuncertaintyfor:?singlemeasurementresults;?thecomparisonoftwoormoremeasurementresults;?thecomparisonofmeasurementresults—fromoneormoreworkpiecesorpiecesofmeasurementequipment—withgivenspecifications[i.e.maximumpermissibleerrors(MPEs)forametrologicalcharacteristicofameasurementinstrumentormeasurementstandard,andtolerancelimitsforaworkpiececharacteristic,etc.],forprovingconformanceornon-conformancewiththespecification.Theiterativemethodisbasedbasicallyonanupperboundstrategy,i.e.overestimationoftheuncertaintyatalllevels,buttheiterationscontroltheamountofoverestimation.Intentionaloverestimation—andnotunderestimation—isnecessarytopreventwrongdecisionsbasedonmeasurementresults.Theamountofoverestimationiscontrolledbyeconomicalevaluationofthesituation.Theiterativemethodisatooltomaximizeprofitandminimizecostinthemetrologicalactivitiesofacompany.Theiterativemethod/procedureiseconomicallyself-adjustingandisalsoatooltochange/reduceexistinguncertaintyinmeasurementwiththeaimofreducingcostinmetrology(manufacture).Theiterativemethodmakesitpossibletocompromisebetweenrisk,effortandcostinuncertaintyestimationandbudgeting.
