【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardspecifiesthetechnicalsafetyrequirementsandmeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesign,constructionandsupply(includinginstallationanddismantling,witharrangementsfortransportandmaintenance)ofmillingmachines(see3.1)includingmachinescapableofperformingboringoperations(see3.5).Machinescoveredbythisstandardincludebutarenotlimitedto:--kneeandcolumntypemillingmachines(seefiguresC.1,C.2);--bed-typemillingmachines(seefigureC.3);--multi-spindlemillingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);--piano-millingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);--profileandcontouringmillingmachines(seefigureC.6),--millingandboringmachines(seefigureC.7).1.2Thisstandardtakesaccountofintendeduseincludingreasonablyforeseeablemisuse,maintenance,cleaning,andsettingoperations.Itpresumesaccesstothemachinefromalldirections.Itdescribesmeanstoreduceriskstooperatorsandotherexposedpersons.1.3Thisstandardalsoappliestoworkpiecetransferdeviceswhentheyformanintegralpartofthemachine.1.4Thisstandarddealswithsignificanthazardsrelevanttomillingmachineswhentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).1.5Hazardsarisingfromothermetalworkingprocesses(e.g.grinding,turning,forming,EDM,laserprocessing)arecoveredbyotherstandards(seeBibliography).1.6Millingmachineswithautomatictoolchangingcapabilitiesarenotcoveredbythisstandard(seeprEN12417:1996).1.7ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomillingmachineswhichweremanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationbyCENofthisstandard.
