【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoversinfraredproceduresfordeterminingthevinylacetatecontentofEVAcopolymersusingpressedfilms(ProcedureA)ormoldedplaques(ProcedureB)andinternalcorrectionsforsamplethickness.ThistestmethodisapplicabletotheanalysisofEVAcopolymerscontaining0.5to55%vinylacetateexceptasspecifiedin.Talcinterfereswiththe1020cmvinylacetateband.Resinscontaining5%vinylacetateandtalcareexcludedfromthescopeofthistestmethod.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.Note1-ThistestmethodisnotequivalenttoISO8985.
